59 Year Old Bilateral Below Knee Amputee
"For the last 10 years I have been a bilateral below-knee amputee. Even though I was in a good place mentally and emotionally, physically I was struggling. I have tried the best diet programs on the market, followed the advice of my PCP, worked out with multiple trainers...something was missing! These cookie cutter plans didn't work in my case. My child has PANDAS

PANDAS - Cute Name, Evil Illness
"You don't know what hell is until you have a child with a sudden illness that turns your world upside down. When your pediatrician calls you "overly emotional" tells you "I think your child is just being bullied and doesn't want to go to school", says "he is working you and you're falling for it", and basically pushes you out the door with no answers! As a mother you know better! My husband and I searched high and low for someone, ANYONE to acknowledge what my son was going through. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY knew what nightmare just body slammed our entire family. HUGE institutions said "this is controversial and we don't believe it exists". Sorry, this was not a good enough answer for us!! We heard about Sela/GYFT Wellness through a friend of a friend of a friend...of a friend. She was so kind to let them share her personal phone number and offered to speak to us immediately. Boom - this was it - this was a person who validated our concerns - who didn't tell us we were crazy!!
